Year of the Wood Dragon

Celebrating the Lunar New Year 2024 and the Imbolc festival in Ireland.

As a multicultural individual living in Ireland, I wanted to pay tribute to these two significant events that both celebrate spring at the same time of the year.

The Wood Dragon is the animal zodiac of the 2024 lunar new year. It has been depicted as a rowan tree, which is an important symbol in Celtic folklore.
